Canadian Parents for French, sa国际传媒 & Yukon branch announced the recipients of the 2024 Bouquet de merci awards.

This year, the honours go to volunteers Heather Balatti, the Fort St. John chapter president, and Cheryl Dowler, the outgoing president of the Vernon CPF chapter.
The Bouquet de merci is an award of recognition for individuals or associations who contribute significantly to the goals of Canadian Parents for French (CPF). The 2024 winners were recognized for their outstanding contributions to supporting French language learning and engagement in their communities.
Cheryl Dowler, who recently completed her term as Vernon CPF Chapter President, has demonstrated strong leadership in collaborating with school district leaders and advocating for French learning opportunities.
Her work organizing events such as Bonhomme visits, district competitions, and library programs has made a significant impact. Her dedication to clear and concise communication has helped streamline chapter activities, and her creativity has left a lasting mark on her local French Immersion program.
Heather Balatti, as President of Fort St. Johnsa国际传媒 CPF chapter and an active leader in PAC and DPAC, has gone above and beyond in organizing opportunities for French Immersion students and their families.
From graduation events to hosting free family movie nights and promoting French family camps, Heathersa国际传媒 tireless efforts have created lasting opportunities for students to engage with French outside the classroom. Her passion and ability to connect with parents, teachers, and community leaders have made her an inspirational figure in promoting French language learning.

Nominations for the Bouquet de merci award are accepted annually, with the deadline each May and results announced in the fall.
