Beginning Monday, the District of West sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ will begin to open its drop-in and registration-based programs at schools, which had been closed during the teachers’ strike.

The full list of programs at Mount Boucherie Secondary, Constable Neil Bruce and Glenrosa Middle and George Pringle Secondary schools will resume on the days and times listed in the West sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Fall 2014 Recreation Guide. The guide can be found online at under Register for Programs.

Programs at Mar Jok Elementary will be postponed a few extra days because the new school needs more set-up time than the established schools. Call the recreation and culture department at 778-797-8800 to ask about startup dates for programs at Mar Jok Elementary.

Programs were not affected at community facilities and are continuing as scheduled at: Jim Lind and Royal LePage Place arenas at the Mount Boucherie Community Centre; Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre; Lakeview Heights Community Hall; Sensisyusten Community Centre; Webber Road Community Centre; West sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Seniors’ Centre; and the Westside Youth Centre.
