A man suspected of being a serial rock-thrower had stones in his vehicle when he was pulled over by police.听
The arrest, at 4 a.m. on Sunday, capped an odd series of events affecting residents of Pinot Noir Drive in the Mission Hill neighborhood of West sa国际传媒.听
Residents of three separate homes on the upscale street, where homes have an assessed value of about $2 million, had reported rocks being thrown through their windows in the early morning hours of Dec. 15.听
鈥淭hrough hard, diligent police work and conversations with the neighborhood, officers were able to determine a suspect and began to search for the individual,鈥 according to a West sa国际传媒 RCMP release issued Monday.听
Police spotted a truck associated with the suspect this past Sunday morning and pulled over the driver. 鈥淥fficers conducted a traffic stop and located a male suspect and arrested him without incident. Large rocks were located in plain view within his vehicle,鈥 the release states.听
Along with information supplied by residents, video surveillance footage was instrumental in the mansa国际传媒 release, police say.听
The unidentified man is expected to appear soon in court on mischief charges.听
