Police have arrested a man after a taxi driver was assaulted and robbed Tuesday morning.
Police say the taxi took the man to Raymer Road and Riley Court, as requested. At the destination, the man hit the driver with a weapon, causing the taxi to drive into a fence.
The man then robbed the driver and fled on foot.
The driver was taken to hospital.
Originally, two men were reportedly involved in the assault, but further investigation confirmed it was one.
